Qingdao Free Trade Zone Management Council in China

  • Current exchange status : Apr. 22, 2003: Concluded working-level intention on the economic cooperative relationship
  • Qingdao Free Trade Zone was established on Nov. 19, 1992 through the ratification of directors and was legally operated from Mar. 29, 1993 through the official approval of interested divisions including the Division of Customs. As the district of Qingdao Free Trade Zone is the sole district in the Hwang Ho region, it is characterized by unpaid customs duty after bringing in of goods. Also, it implements a special policy on ‘exemption of certificate, tax, and levies’ while mainly serving functional roles including international distribution, purchase, and exhibition as well as export, processing, and bonded warehouses.
